I just added our new wedding and portrait sites, wow so much time in gathering all the photos needed for the site. I will be adding many more portraits and wedding photos over the next few months. A beautiful wedding at the NyLo Hotel in Plano. A fun couple who just love to dance with each other, I am not sure who danced more, their parents or them. Their album design, by Darla Kendrick, is one of her best designs. This time she used more b&w's and sepia colors. The couple both fell in love with the layout. Thanks Darla for your hard work!

Another winner again this month, Fort Worth Professional Photographers Association had their photo Competition this month and many photos were entered. I have started photographing dance studios and just love to photograph while they are actually dancing. Next month I am scheduled to photograph more dancers, I can't wait!

A Winning Album

Another entry this month, Fort Worth Professional Photographers Association had a album Competition this month, 11 albums entered, a big turnout for our group. Laura and John’s album won an award!!! I have the bug to enter more of my work again. The winning album is our new 12” x 12” plexiglass cover with my custom layout design. When a album is finished and presented to our clients, I just love to watch their smile as they look at their album for the first time. What a fun time.

Baby Parker

Little baby Parker born on March 7th. We have been offering with all our wedding packages a free maternity and 1st baby photo session from all our previous weddings we have photographed. Jennifer and Chris’s wedding were one of our wedding couple’s who gave us the opportunity to photograph their beautiful baby boy. What a great thing to see a family grow, and I’m able to share and photograph when their family begins. Since I have been here in Texas I am now photographing client's second babies. How wonderful to see the little ones grow.

A beautiful spring wedding in the gardens. Tracy and Jon met on the internet and he flew to New York to meet her for the first time, you can find you love anywhere. This time of year, outdoor weddings are so beautiful with all the colorful flowers blooming. I like using as much of the flowers as I can in the spring, it adds that extra color for a perfect photo.

Darla Kendrick is our design editor and studio assistant. She has worked with me over a year designing and editing our wedding albums. She has her own unique style of choosing backgrounds and layouts to make each album special. She also adds her own fun to our baby sessions. Her love for children will help us to continue to grow with more children’s photography. I am very fortunate to have her, with all of her creative ideas. Thank you Darla, for all your help.

Trisha Merritt has become a aspiring wedding photographer and I’m very lucky to have her working for me at most of my weddings, she has worked with me for about a year and now has become my right arm at the wedding. Trisha has a creative style of photographing people and getting the groom to do the funniest things, she also photographs the bride with the biggest smile when getting ready for the wedding. We have become a great team together capturing a fun day at a wedding. Thanks Trish for all your help and I look forward to many more weddings to photograph with you!

Natalie and Justin Wedding

A wonderful wedding this weekend at Park Cities Baptist Church. I met Natalie and Justin back in September 2008 and knew they were a perfect match for each other. I had photographed their Engagement, Bridal and now a beautiful Wedding after. They topped off their wedding with a cool reception at "2616 Commerce" (very cool and trendy place in Deep Ellum). We photographed them on the balcony with the Dallas skyline behind them. Wow, can't wait to design their album for them.

Dance Studio with Brandye

A fun session today at a dance studio, Brandye is so elegant with her dance poses. I photographed her with many different style of poses, she used many outfits to complement her graceful dance positions. I plan on taking more of this style of photography soon, what a blast.

Bethany and Brian's Wedding

This wedding was amazing. You should have seen the fantastic colors in the room we were in. The dresses were this amazing green color and the flowers were a brilliant array of oranges and hot pinks. It was just gorgeous. They drove off in this classic old car which was like the icing on the cake.
